While I don’t suffer from severe acne, I’ll only comment on the oil reduction claim this product espouses. As a person with combination skin, I constantly struggle with excess oil production in my t-zone. I used this product for two consecutive weeks and began noticing the difference within the first couple of usages. Initially, I was a bit taken aback by the thickness of the product; I usually prefer lighter creams for the summer months. The feeling of the product on my skin is something that I’ll equate to having sun screen on my face; you can feel the film. Once I got over the feeling I couldn’t help but notice the difference in my skin’s appearance. It was noticeably more matte looking, which others took notice of – especially those that were the most aware of my oil afflicted face. In terms of the scent, it’s quite mild and quickly dissipates. It shouldn’t irritate most people. As for the endurance, I didn’t quite make it for the minimum 6 hours. At about 4 ½ hours after the application, I needed to supplement my tactic. I would use either my blotting sheets or loose mineral powder to absorb the excess oil. Albeit, that could just be the way the product works with my skin. So, perhaps it’s unfair to hold that against a product that performs relatively well. As for price, it retails for approximately $30.00 CAD. It could be considered expensive if you require daily usage, but I think I’ll use it sparingly.
