First off let me start by telling you about my complicated hair. I have thick, curly, frizzy hair, and lots of it, which I love to straighten. This is a task that since my teenage years, has taken up a huge part of my time. It is safe to say that blow dryers and flat irons are two of my best friends.
Along with all that I have also spent a lot of time trying out different products from straightening serums and creams, finishing sprays and flat iron protection products to help with my hair. So when the offer for Orofluido came I said what the hell, let’s try another, add it to the list.
First, I'm going to start with what I did like about the product. I like that the main three ingredients are natural. I try to go with products that are natural and environmentally friendly. Lastly I like the texture too, it didn’t leave my hands feeling greasy and the smell was lovely.
I did my usual routine, which is serum then straightening serum. I found that Orofluido definitely cut down drying time and added an instant shine and softness to my hair. However, the next day after I touched it up with my flat iron I found my ends to be dry and stringy. Also, it didn't work well in humidity/moisture, which is when my hair is at its worst.
The second way I used it was as a finishing serum. After I dried my hair, I rubbed Orofluido through my ends and the outcome was GREAT. It was healthy shiny, and very soft. Also by just adding it to my ends, it didn't make my roots greasy. All in all I would definitely use Orofluido as a finishing serum rather then a straightening serum. I would also recommend it to my friends and family.
