I ran into a number of issues with the Airr insoles. I was really excited to try the product as I spend numerous hours on my feet working in hospitality. The shoes I wear are largely dependent on the event I’m working so I had many options on what shoes to put them in.  Initially, I tried putting these insoles into 3 different sets of shoes, including dress and running, but I found that they did not offer a good fit.

I first trimmed the insole (the size I received was too large) to fit my shoe size. When it was time to actually put the shoes(s) on, I found that due to the thickness of the insole  took up too much space in the shoe and there was less room for my feet, thus the shoes itself became too tight!  This was not a comfortable experience!

This was the same for the 3 pairs of shoes I tired to use them with.

I then put them in a pair of shoes purchased a size too large. These were a pair of dress shoes and I ran into the same problem.

I feel that the thickness of the Airr Sole is the largely the reason I had so much difficulty with the product. In the past when I have purchased insoles I also generally seek how ones that are softer and more malleable.

I would not buy or attempt to use this product again. I would only recommend this product to consumers if they are purchasing it the same time they are buying a new pair of shoes. Then they would be able to try the insole in the shoe and adjust the size of the shoe accordingly.

Also the price point of it is a bit high for my budget and comfort level, though I must mention that I found the packaging to be quite aesthetically pleasing.
